What We Believe

What We Believe

  • The Bible

We believe that the Bible, Old and New Testament are the verbally inspired authoritative Word of God without error in the original writings. The Word of God holds the words to eternal life and the keys of the Kingdom of God, which shows us Gods principles, and standards for living and it is spiritual food that sustains us in all circumstances. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12)

  • God

We believe God is the only true and living God, existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is a distinct Person; but all of one essence and all having the same nature, perfection and attributes. Each is worthy of precisely the same worship, confidence, and obedience. (Genesis 1:1-3, 26; Matthew 3:16, 17; John 1:1, 14, 10:30, 14:26, 15:26; Matthew 28:19)

  • Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, shed His blood on Calvary in our place, was buried, rose again and ascended to the Father according to the Scriptures. (Luke 1:26-33, 22:20, 24:46)

  • Holy Spirit

We believe Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity of God, co-existent with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is the Chief Agent in the regeneration of the soul, the Chief Convector of sin, and the Chief Comforter of the believer. Simultaneous with regeneration, the Holy Spirit baptizes the believer into the body of Christ, permanently dwells in him and seals him in salvation for all eternity. The Holy Spirit is the giver of spiritual gifts to the believer. (John 16:1-13; Acts 5:3-4; Titus 3:5; Matthew 3:11; Ephesians 1:13-14; I Corinthians 12:1-11)

  • The Church

We believe the true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head. (Ephesians 1:19-23; Psalms 8:6; Matthew28:18 1 Corinthians 15:27)

  • Salvation

We believe in Restoring God’s image back, His spiritual nature in peoples lives through Jesus Christ according to the word of God ( (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-11; Ephesians 2:8-10)

  • Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adams and Eve’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” Notice, God said they would die “the day that you eat of it” (Genesis 2:17)
  • Adam and Eve didn’t die physically the day they ate the fruit and disobeyed God's command. The reason is because they died spiritually. God is not physical, but spiritual in his nature. (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:16-17; Genesis 3:1-24)
  • We believe the restored image of God in man is brought about only by God's work of re-creation. We read in (Colossians 1:15) and in Hebrews 1:3, that the Messiah is the true image of the invisible God. It is therefore God's purpose to conform us to the image of his Son (Rom. 8:29)
  • Paul says of this in 1 Corinthians 15:49 ``And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man `{`Adam and Eve`}`, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven `{`Jesus Christ`}`.`` Re-creation comes only by the new birth. Indeed as John 3:7 states it, ``...You must be born again.`` This is a spiritual rebirth and it enables us to be fashioned after God, who is Spirit. (2 Cor. 3:18; Gal. 4:19)
  • We believe Jesus Christ came from heaven to earth to Restore God’s Image back His spiritual nature in man life through the shedding of his blood on the cross. He was manifested to undo the works of the devil (1John 3:8)
  • Salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works. We believe God raised Jesus from the dead, and by confessing with our mouth Jesus as Lord and Savoir of our life then we are saved (Romans 10:8-10, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 5:20-21)
  • The Bible says all have sinned and come short of the glory of God being in need of redemption. (Romans 3:23; Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Psalm 51:5; Ecclesiastes 7:29; John 6:44; Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 2:14)
  • We believe that salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (Luke 7:50, 24:47; Romans 10:13-15; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 2:15; Ephesians 2:8, 9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7)
